Art & Environment

The Art & Environment Committee decorates the church to visually bring to life the changes of liturgical seasons and the focus of specific liturgies. Members assist as their individual schedules, talents, and preferences allow. Volunteers are needed to plan, gather supplies, sew and create, conceptualize and arrange displays, care for plants seasonally, decorate the church on specific occasions, and to help put away decorations at the end of a season. Those who participate in conceptualizing and planning are asked to attend meetings throughout the year. Others may volunteer for specific tasks, such as to sew a banner
or remove decorations.

The Handmaids are a group of volunteers who assist with dusting and light cleaning of the church and common areas. Cleaning is usually done on Friday mornings, and the schedule rotates. Please contact
Marge Kelley at 734-451-0463.

Those who assist with Sacred Linen Care launder the altar linens, corporals, and purificators that are used at Mass.
The schedule rotates.
