Musicians
Choir
The choir is a diverse group of approximately 20 members who share their gift of
song at weekend Masses from September through May. The choir also sings at some
Holy Day Masses, including Christmas Eve Midnight Mass, Ash Wednesday, Holy Thursday,
Good Friday, Easter Vigil, and Easter Day. The choir assists the congregation through
song, and often sings the verses of the Psalm response of the day. The repertoire
of the choir reflects the diversity within the larger church and ranges from traditional
Latin treasures such as Ave Verum Corpus to David Hass, spirituals, and Taize. Rehearsals
are Wednesdays from 7-8:30 pm. Please contact

Cantors
Cantors assist in the liturgy by singing the hymns and verses of the Psalms. A cantor
must have confidence and proficiency in singing and reading music, with a pleasant
voice that clearly conveys the text. Cantors are not required to join another music
group, but must prepare ahead and rehearse with Jeanne Marie. Please contact
