Lee Flaherty
Parish Council Chair
My husband, Tim, and I live in Livonia and have been members of St. Priscilla
parish for several years. During that time, I have served two terms on the Parish
Pastoral Council and am currently beginning my third. I am a lector and an
extraordinary minister of the Eucharist, and I’ve volunteered with our Life Teen
program since the fall of 2006. I’ve also helped put on several Christ Renews His
Parish weekends, and I volunteer in a number of other ways from time to time.
Outside of the parish, I’m a long-time member of the Christian Legal Society,
and I serve on the Boards of Directors of New Hope Center for Grief Support and
the Farmington/Farmington Hills Optimist Club. I also do occasional volunteer work
for the AAA Pregnancy Resource Center in Livonia. My favorite things to do in my
free time are gardening, reading and relaxing on our patio.
Over the years, I’ve come to cherish my parish family at St. Priscilla. I feel
very fortunate to have been a part of so many good things going on in our parish,
but one of the things I love most is being with the teens. Thank you, parents,
for sharing them with me!
